HOW TO CARE FOR COTTON

1. WASHING

• Temperature : Wash cotton in cold or warm water (maximum 30-40°C) to prevent shrinkage . Hot water can cause it to lose its shape and size.
• Detergent : Use a mild detergent to protect the fibers and prevent them from wearing out quickly.
• Separation : Separate cotton clothing from other fabrics , especially darker or color-fast ones, to avoid staining or discoloration.

2. DRYING

• Air drying: It is best to air dry cotton garments, hanging them in the shade to prevent the colors from fading in the sun.
• Dryer: If you use a dryer, set it on low heat to prevent shrinkage. It's best to avoid using it for delicate cotton garments.

3. IRONING

• Medium Heat: Cotton tends to wrinkle easily , so if you need to iron it, use a medium-high heat setting . You can also use steam to help remove wrinkles.
• Caution: Make sure the garment is slightly damp or use the steam setting on your iron for best results.

4. STORAGE

• Avoid moisture: Store cotton garments in cool, dry places. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent premature wear or discoloration.
• Hang or fold: Cotton garments can be hung on hangers or carefully folded to maintain their shape.

5. STAIN REMOVAL

• Pretreatment: If stains are present, treat the garment as soon as possible with cold water and detergent. If the stain persists, you can use a suitable stain remover before washing.
